Martina discovered her architectural calling through a childhood blend of art, mathematics, and countless hours building with Legos—a passion that continues today. After exploring various building typologies early in her career, she found her true mission in multifamily housing, preservation, and affordable housing. For Martina, architecture transcends structural design; it addresses climate change, housing inequality, and human dignity through the spaces where people live their most meaningful moments.

As a past president of AIA Baltimore and long-time volunteer with Neighborhood Design Center of Maryland, Martina approaches her work with three guiding principles: serving as a steward of community and project needs, functioning as a storyteller who translates complex designs into clear narratives, and maintaining balance among competing demands of codes, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder interests. Her holistic thinking and empathy guide her through the constant communication her role demands, whether in meetings, on site visits, or through the detailed drawings that translate ideas into reality.

Martina values the collaborative spirit that defines Moseley’s Baltimore office, where mission-driven colleagues work together like family. Her architectural philosophy centers on adaptability and resourcefulness—making the most of every opportunity to create positive change through thoughtful design.
