Kenny views architecture as the intersection of imagination and logic, driven by a lifelong passion for art, creativity, and three-dimensional problem-solving. His design philosophy centers on creating environments that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost—spaces that are visually compelling, practical, and responsive to user needs.

Kenny’s approach has evolved through collaboration across disciplines and engagement with emerging technologies. He believes thoughtful design stems from early, open conversations with clients, engineers, and stakeholders—particularly crucial in K-12 projects. Through clear communication, design charrettes, and advanced 3D visualization tools, he helps teams align quickly, anticipate challenges, and deliver coordinated solutions.

Kenny thrives when guiding teams and clients through the creative process—from exploring options and visualizing ideas to solving complex problems with clarity. He advocates for using technology not just to design, but to teach, empowering others with software skills that improve communication and design quality. His mentorship focuses on building strong standards, encouraging curiosity, and developing capable leaders.

As a design principal, Kenny elevates Moseley’s approach by fostering innovation, collaboration, and integrated thinking. He is invested in how architecture addresses societal needs—especially in education—by creating spaces that inspire, support well-being, and serve communities for generations. Looking ahead, he embraces AI and visualization technologies while helping the firm evolve with the profession.

Outside the office, Kenny draws inspiration from hands-on building, furniture design, travel, and historic architecture. These pursuits enrich his design sensibility and reinforce his belief that great architecture honors the past while shaping the future. His goal is ensuring every project is as meaningful as it is enduring.
