Shannon Calloway

Shannon’s exposure to design began while visiting job sites with his father, who worked as an electrical subcontractor. Witnessing the behind-the-scenes details that bring a building to life sparked an initial interest in the field, which was later complemented by a growing proclivity toward the arts and sciences. He enjoys applying these passions to his work as a leader in Moseley’s higher education sector.
Shannon gravitated toward higher education design after working on a few university-level athletic facilities early in his career. Navigating the unique aspects of these project types and partnering closely with educational clients were formative experiences, solidifying his trajectory within the sector. He finds fulfillment in a people-centered approach, from establishing a project’s design principles with his team to witnessing the impact each finished product has on students, staff, and the surrounding community.
As a leader, Shannon places great emphasis on authenticity. He believes that establishing trust as a grounded, approachable, and genuine leader cultivates an effective team. Through thoughtful mentorship and a positive temperament, he seeks to create impactful, long-lasting results benefiting both those he leads and those Moseley serves.
