Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall supports the growth and development of the college’s arts programs while creating a hub of artistic expression. Previously hampered by inadequate spaces, the project design maximizes interdisciplinary collaboration and repurposes existing instructional, performance, and rehearsal rooms to meet the current and future needs of the college’s art programs.

Supporting music, theater, speech, dance, studio art, and art history programs, Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall also serves the Williamsburg community. A 492-seat main stage theatre and a 450-seat concert hall aim to attract talent to the area and showcase student excellence in performance art. While the updated complex features modern technology and amenities, the exterior pays homage to the historical campus with matching building materials and motifs to their signature architecture.
