Moseley has named Tim Smith, AIA, a principal in the firm's Charlotte office. Tim joins the higher education sector with more than two decades of experience managing campus projects for universities across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia.
Tim most recently served as an education studio director, where he built a higher education practice serving North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Earlier in his career, he managed projects across higher education, K-12 and multifamily sectors and coordinated directly with state agencies during permitting and construction of multi-year building programs.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts in architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a licensed architect in North Carolina and New York. He holds certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and is a former president of the Charlotte chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute.
